September is a month of FUN! Football season is in full swing, homecoming is being celebrated, fall begins, and the fair is in town.
We are so grateful to have been part of so many exciting celebrations in September, and we're sharing a few of our favorite custom cakes in today's blog post!
Ice Cream Themed Birthday Cake
Ice Cream Cakes and Memphis heat do not mix, but Ice Cream Themed Cakes like this one are the perfect way to still maintain the theme of your event without worrying about the fate of your cake. This custom birthday cake featured Vanilla Cake and layers of Confetti Cookie Dough and Vanilla Buttercream. It was topped with scooped buttercream, sprinkles, and edible glitter.
Signature Cookie Dough Cake
When in doubt, our Signature Cookie Dough Cakes are a great option for any occasion. This Chocolate Cake is filled with layers of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Vanilla Buttercream.
Tiger Themed Cake and Cookies
This cake was part of a special birthday celebration. We heard Pouncer himself made an appearance at this party! For this particular event, we recommend a Double Barrel Cake, which is simply two different cakes stacked on top of each other. Double Barrel Cakes offer variety for your guests, as each cake can be a different flavor. For this particular cake, one layer was chocolate and the other was vanilla.
Super Hero Themed Sheet Cake
Sheet Cakes are a popular option for serving party sized slices to a large number of guests, but not all Sheet Cakes have to be rectangle. This Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Buttercream and fondant details was carved in the shape of the number four. We think it was a *super* clever way to incorporate the guest of honor's age into the cake!
